University
of Massachusetts |
Developed curriculum, co-facilitated, a seminar style course on transgender theory. We challenged students to take an active role in the development of topics, establishing their own goals and developing self-evaluation techniques. Our goal was not to study transgender people. Instead, we worked together to develop a transgender theory, which attempts to understand the gendered social world that marginalizes gender variance. |
